06 Apr On Doers Part 2
On Doers is a conversation series about founders, beginnings, invention, visionaries and starting up initiated by my friend and co-founder of ScoutMob Michael Tavani . In the history of the world, there’s never been a better time to start a company or work on an idea. Never before has someone been able to go from idea to functioning company with just an internet connection and a MacBook. It seems like everyone we meet nowadays has an idea or wants to escape their “day job” and work on something they’re passionate about. Very few do. Lots of ideas, very few doers. And that’s who we’re talking to. The doers. The ones who are making it happen.
This episode we talked to urban designer Ryan Gravel whose master’s thesis was the original vision of the Atlanta BeltLine, one of the largest urban redevelopment projects in the United States. We sat down at Perkins+Will design firm in Midtown Atlanta.
